PROFILE
A string quartet greets you on arrival with gentle, melodic music while you discover with awe the spectacular waterfront river views from the 65th floor at Tower Club at lebua. Chef Ryuki Kawasaki has worked at Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and the U.S. before taking over at Mezzaluna. He prepares nightly your culinary experiences in the open kitchen right besides Mezzaluna’s half-moon windows wall.

MUST TRY:
Niigata Murakami wagyu beef and the succulent suckling pig. Kinmedai, foie gras prepared as a chawan mushi (Japanese style custard) with duck consommé.

The polished teak staircase, the open floor plan of the dining space with floor-to-ceiling windows and cream, pastel shades invite you to relax almost immediately in this elegant interiors and romantic setting. Tables are impeccably positioned for privacy, and the low lights are designed not to detract from the spectacular view or from engaging with Chef Kawasaki through Mezzaluna’s open kitchen.

FOOD
With a passion for artistic expression, Chef Ryuki combines classic preparations with adventurous techniques, while engaging with guests through Mezzaluna’s open kitchen. His creativity and passion are evident in the menus with dishes like soy glazed snapper served with foie gras in smoke consommé, tangerine marinated Scottish langoustine with lemongrass and sultana raisins, and Nagasaki Wagyu beef rib eye grilled over white binchō charcoal with Perigord truffle.

In addition to the a la carte menu, four- and seven-course tasting menus are offered but these are re-designed constantly, and served with optional wine pairings for an unforgettable culinary experience. The incredible wine list is leaning to expensive classic French labels. Chef Kawasaki is fusing French cooking expertise with distinctive Japanese ingredients; flavours are characteristic to each ingredient, almost blooming on the palate.
