The Allium Bangkok is a French fine dining restaurant located at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok. The restaurant boast of an open kitchen allows a full view of the chefs at work, and there is a chef’s table available for an up-close and personal dining experience.

AMBIENCE
The dining room which is dominated by royal red and cool white colors has an extensive glass wall to one side and a beautiful bar with a high stool to the other side. Antique saloon chairs provide easy seating at the tables. From the large red door to the antique saloon chairs for comfortable seating; and high stools at the bar to the amazing decor in various section, the transformation feel like a different part of the home and give a beautiful new dining experience.

SERVICE
Service is personalized, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Staff also adopt an entertaining storytelling tone when explaining the dishes. The food presentation is delightful.

FOOD
The cooking technique is inspired essentially by classical French cooking, with the highest quality ingredients imported. The menu is changed quarterly to reflect the seasonal availability of ingredients. This new experience with natural food features offerings such as Tomato salad, Hokkaido scallops, Crab and cucumber, Oyster and caviar, Tender Lamb, and the risotto was by far very memorable. Even though the dishes are relatively small, the quality of the ingredients and overall satisfaction is heavenly. Bespoke cocktails dominated the cocktail, herbs and botanicals from the hotel herb garden are utilized in the mix as well. The extensive wine list (over 200 labels) is predominantly French and Italian wines from wines from the old-world as well as a large selection of natural, biodynamic, and organic wines.

SUMMARY
The Allium Bangkok brings new meaning to a rich culinary heritage in Bangkok with intensely satisfying contemporary French dishes. The overwhelming sheer aesthetics of the environment plays a big role in the overall experience. It’s not s cheap place to dine and reservation is advised.
