Acclaimed Swiss chef Andrea Caminada spread its wings to create IGNIV Bangkok, his first restaurant outside of Switzerland. Located on the 1st floor at The St. Regis Bangkok the restaurant has direct Skytrain access from Ratchadamri Station.

OVERVIEW
The name IGNIV means “nest” in the Rhaeto-Romanic language. At IGNIV, guests should feel as comfortable and cared for as a little bird in its nest. Imagined by Andreas Caminada, the Swiss founding chef of IGNIV and head chef of the internationally acclaimed 3-Michelin-starred restaurant Schloss Schauenstein in Switzerland, IGNIV is all about a unique fine dining sharing experience (19 dishes), where exquisite dinner experience is composed with the connoisseur in mind and crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients, bearing the whimsical signature of its creator, led by head chef David Hartwig, along with his sous-chef and pastry chef Arne Riehn.

AMBIENCE
With her unique sense of space and luxurious fabrics combined with colorful furniture, acclaimed Spanish interior designer Patricia Urquiola infuses IGNIV’s typical nest atmosphere with the energy and essence of Bangkok to create a feeling of comfort beautifully reflecting the attributes of the nested character.

FOOD
The Modern European Cuisine at IGNIV Bangkok, is rooted in Europe and particularly in Switzerland with influences from all over the world, it may be considered “fine dining”, but the dining experience is delightfully vibrant. Rather than serving individual dishes for each course, IGNIV serves multiple dishes at once, placed at the center of the table for diners to share. In total, guests will have a total of 17 to 19 dishes in a 4-course sharing experience.

The kitchen team of IGNIV Bangkok is led by the talented Head Chef David Hartwig and Sous-Chef and Pastry-Chef Arne Riehn. The menu changes four times per year, based on the European seasons. With a passion for locally sourced ingredients, Chef David and Chef Arne personally seek out small-batch suppliers and artisanal producers for the freshest in-season produce to create imaginative dishes at IGNIV Bangkok.

PRICING
IGNIV sharing experience (19 dishes) at THB 4,900++ per person, or Carte Blanche menu including surprise dishes at THB 7,900++ per person.

Under the watchful supervision of restaurant manager Gina Souza, the service is attentive, professional, and unobtrusive.
