Located near Trisara on the peaceful northwestern coast of Phuket, and only 15 to 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the restaurant sits in a tranquil environment surrounded by tropical greenery and fresh ocean air.
Inside, PRU features an open kitchen that brings diners closer to the craft of cooking. Guests can watch the chefs prepare each dish, creating a sense of connection and excitement throughout the meal.
There is also a dedicated bar where guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks or cocktails created with local ingredients. The bar offers a comfortable space to begin or end the evening, with a selection of wines and beverages chosen to pair with the menu.

The design of PRU is contemporary, relaxed, and inspired by nature. Warm wood, soft neutral tones, and natural textures create a calm and inviting atmosphere. Jimmy Ophorst
The Executive Chef, Co-Owner of PRU and Montara’s Group Culinary Director joined the Montara Hospitality Group long before the original PRU saw the light of day. The Dutchman was behind the inception of Pru Jampa Farm that still supplies PRU and its sister restaurant JAMPA and he led the restaurant to winning one Michelin star at age 29, which it has held every year since 2018. With the new PRU, Chef Jimmy uses his creativity and talent to embrace the resources and treasures of his adopted home in Phuket.
