BAKE’s signature cuisine is a patisserie but also offers fresh Japanese sushi, sashimi, daily-made fresh Italian pasta, wood-fired pizza, and juicy rotisserie.
OVERVIEW
BAKE is unique as it harnesses a “food garden” concept with several food options available. BAKE is positioned at the entrance to Laguna Phuket and the Boat Avenue destination shopping space. It is also a convenient drop-in place on the way to Layan or Bang Tao Beaches. It is a place that is good for morning coffee meetups with friends as well as a romantic dinner for two and a bottle of wine in the evening. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available and dog-friendly.
Baking impeccable cakes, perfectly seasoned bread, fine pastries, and coffee are some of the hallmarks of the BAKE brand. Besides baked goods, the restaurant also provides all-day dining options, offering a wide range of tasty dishes that can be enjoyed anytime. Diners can eat in or take away a variety of savory sandwiches and salads, as well as pasta dishes and some signature Thai dishes. What better way to re-energize after a day at the beach than with freshly brewed coffee and French macarons, eclairs, and sugary goodness? BAKE also offers takeaway coffee, drinks, bread, pastries, and food all day.

AMBIENCE
BAKE has led the way for top-notch coffee and French-inspired freshly baked goods since it opened its flagship branch over a decade ago at the entrance to Laguna Phuket in Cherngtalay. It has been a staple drop-in point for locals and visitors alike to grab their morning brew and stop and fill up on breakfast and meals throughout the day.
FOOD
Primarily a patisserie, the bread, pastries, and cakes offered here are quintessentially French in style, texture, and flavor. Expect elegantly presented scrumptiousness. The rest of the menu offers all-day fare. BAKE is renowned for its comfort food and is often a popular stop for triathletes after their morning training. The signature Juicy Lucy Wagyu beef burger is sure to sate any hunger pangs and is the perfect carb load. Vegans can opt for a Beyond Burger️ patty and vegan cheese too! BAKE has a wood-fired pizza oven and a rotisserie too, the Pizza Marinara is loaded with prawns and anchovies, and the succulent rotisserie chicken is offered in four flavours, Thai roasted, Piri-Piri, Indian spiced, and French roasted, all served with fries or salad. Serving fresh coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. For a sweet bite of indulgence, the luxurious brightly colored scrumptious macaroons are to die for.
PASTRY CHEF
From 1983 to 1985, Chef Wanchai Chamnankit worked as a commis before being promoted to Chef de Partie. He then worked for the Le Meridien brand for 15 years, where he received training in the bakery at Le Meridien Orchard Singapore and Le Meridien Etoile Paris. From 2017 to the present, he has been the head pastry chef at BAKE. He loves working for Twinpalms and appreciates the opportunities for his “Ferrandi” Paris Culinary Art training given to him to further his pastry skills.
CHIEF BAKER
In addition to starting his culinary training at Phuket Yacht Club, Chef Chalit Talad-Ngern began working there as a bakery chef for six years before moving to another location and then returning to the Phuket Yacht Club. He joined Twinpalms Phuket in 2016 and has been baking perfect pastries ever since. He loves working for Twinpalms and appreciates the opportunities for his “Ferrandi” Paris Culinary Art training given to him to further his baking skills.
RESTAURANT CHEF
Whenever Chef Warawut Sayang cooked for his friends, everyone remarked that his food was good, and this spurred him to train as a chef. He has now worked in hotels for over two decades.
