Italian-born Chef Mirko Cappa leads Angsana Laguna Phuket’s vibrant culinary scene with over 15 years of international experience across luxury hotels and fine dining restaurants from Italy to Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America. His career began in Italy’s renowned gourmet region of Gardone Riviera before expanding globally — mastering diverse cuisines and inspiring a contemporary approach rooted in authentic Italian techniques.
At Angsana Laguna Phuket, Mirko oversees 5 restaurants and lounges, as well as banquet, in-room and VIP dining. His menus celebrate a fusion of locally sourced produce and global flavors, shaping distinctive culinary concepts including Azzurra, Bodega & Grill, Seafood Market, Poolside Restaurant, Market Place and Club Lounge.
