Chef Lam Kok Weng - Executive Chinese Chef, Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant

With more than three decades of culinary experience, Chef Lam Kok Weng plays a key role in the success of Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant and Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Chef Lam began his career in 1989 at Carlton Hotel Singapore, where he built a strong foundation in authentic Cantonese cuisine. Over the years, he gained extensive experience as cook, sous chef, and assistant chef at renowned hotels and distinguished restaurants in Singapore and Jakarta.

Although Singaporean by nationality, Chef Lam has spent the past 15 years in Bangkok, serving as Culinary Director and Chef de Cuisine in several leading luxury hotels. His deep understanding of Cantonese cooking traditions, paired with modern presentation and precise technique, defines the culinary excellence of Wah Lok.

A celebrated name in the region, Wah Lok continues to serve the finest Cantonese cuisine to discerning diners in both Singapore and Bangkok.
