The meticulously crafted space reflects the spirit of Japanese artisanship and the understated elegance of wabi-sabi, offering a dining experience that is both refined and contemplative.

AMBIENCE

From the shikkui clay plaster walls to the custom-made wooden seating and hand-selected Raku, Oribe, Karatsu, Shino, and Shigaraki ceramics crafted by some of Japan’s leading contemporary potters, every detail has been intentionally curated. The pristine hinoki counter and cutting boards further elevate the atmosphere, immersing guests in a sensory celebration of nature’s bounty and artisanal expression—an embodiment of Chef Tiago’s vision shaped through years of dedicated training.

Our menu is dedicated to the timeless preparations and flavours of Edomae sushi. Composed of 3-4 classical Otsumami, seasonal starters traditionally eaten at Sushi-ya, sushi restaurants. The menu progresses through 8 seasonal courses of nigiri sushi then followed by miso soup, sushi roll piece, tamago, and dessert.

For sushi purists who want to taste authentic flavours and enjoy a classic sushi meal.

Jikasei B Course (16-18 Courses)
Years of experience from Chef Tiago are dedicated to one menu that showcases his style and influences from his training. Composed of 5-6 Jikasei B signature Otsumami, seasonal starters with the finest seasonal ingredients, the menu progresses through 10-12 seasonal courses of nigiri sushi, then followed by miso soup, sushi roll piece, tamago, and dessert.

ABOUT CHEF

Chef Tiago Cardoso da Silva, a Portuguese native, started his career in Porto, Portugal, before moving to Barcelona, Spain, where he could learn more. In search for more sushi knowledge chef embarked on a journey to Bangkok, Thailand, with the final goal of one day working in Japan. Since its inception in December 2020, Jikasei Barcelona, now Jikasei B garnered instant acclaim, this venture in a private and unorthodox location where you could only access by introduction of an existing customer was a hit leading Jikasei to be one of the most sought after sushi in Europe, hosting esteemed personalities from the global gastronomic scene and earning a reputation for exclusivity within high- end culinary events.

Notable experiences include pop-ups in century-old Nieepoort wineries in Portugal, residency in a Michelin-rated restaurant in Paris, the traditional La Paulee ceremony in Burgundy, exclusive engagements in Ginza, Tokyo, and Bangkok. Jikasei’s recent series of successful pop-ups in Bangkok’s Counter Culture has further solidified Tiago’s belief that this amazing city is the ideal setting for his next chapter.
