As a ‘WINDOW OPENING TO INDIAN CUISINE’, Jharokha is similar to peering through a window into the soul of Indian flavours, where each dish tells a story steeped in tradition, innovation and a kaleidoscope of tastes that define the culinary landscape of India.

OVERVIEW
Jharokha is a haven where the grand allure of Rajasthan's polo clubs combines with the ancient charm of Indian firepit cooking. Within our walls, we invite you to partake in an extraordinary culinary escapade inspired by the bygone era of Indian royalty. At Jharokha, the confluence of tradition and innovation manifests in the artful utilization of Kopa, a charcoal oven that breathes life into our culinary creations.

Our beverage program complements this experience, featuring an extensive wine list with biodynamic options and a signature cocktail and mocktail menu inspired by Indian polo traditions. Our special Gin and Tonic trolley has selection of innovative drinks using Indian spices which is served with an interactive approach, enhancing the overall dining journey. ‘JHAROKHA’ – literally translating to ‘window’ in English, typically refers to an intricately designed window, often adorned with ornate carvings, especially donned by palaces in Rajasthan. It reflects the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Indian art and design.

In the context of our restaurant, ‘JHAROKHA’ carries a profound meaning beyond its literal translation. It becomes a gateway to experience the vibrant and diverse tapestry of Indian cuisine. As a ‘WINDOW OPENING TO INDIAN CUISINE’, Jharokha is similar to peering through a window into the soul of Indian flavours, where each dish tells a story steeped in tradition, innovation and a kaleidoscope of tastes that define the culinary landscape of India.

AMBIENCE
The interiors draw inspiration from the opulence of a Rajasthan polo club. The ambiance echoes with the elegance of mahogany and the timeless allure of rich leathers, creating an atmosphere that mirrors the sophistication of a bygone era. Each corner of Jharokha is adorned with elements reminiscent of the regal sport, transporting you to an era where polo matches were accompanied by grand feasts.

FOOD
Each dish is a testament to authentic recipes handed down through generations, elevated with intricate plating that mirrors the elegance of royal Indian feasts. Signature dishes like Raj Kachori, Duck Seekh Kebab, Shikari Maas ke Sule, and Ashkauri Chaampan embody our commitment to both flavor and presentation, while our Chutney Set has already become a favorite among diners.

Our culinary journey at Jharokha draws inspiration from the fireside cooking traditions of the Indian Royals, who, after triumphant hunts, would gather around open flames to savor the spoils of their conquests. The heart of our kitchen beats in sync with the spirit of those royal feasts, as we meticulously grill meats and kebabs using the modern marvel that is Kopa. The result is a symphony of flavors that pay homage to the grandeur of India's culinary history.

In our kitchen, authenticity meets artistry. Traditional recipes, handed down through generations, are transformed into culinary masterpieces that not only satisfy the palate but also captivate the eye.
