Ginza Sushi-Ichi is located in the Gaysorn Centre Building, Gaysorn Village. It is close to the InterContinental Hotel, the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, and the CentralWorld shopping complex.
OVERVIEW
We are a premier omakase sushi restaurant, operating for over 11 years since its 2014. We were the first and only Japanese restaurant in Thailand to be awarded One MICHELIN Star for five consecutive years. In early 2022, we relocated to the 3rd fl of the Gaysom Centre in the heart of Bangkok.
AMBIENCE
The restaurant’s interior exudes refined elegance with light wood and dark marble accents, creating a warm yet luxurious atmosphere. There are two private dining rooms, with a seating capacity of 20. The counter is crafted from aromatic Hinoki wood, offering a close view of the open kitchen, where diners can watch each sushi piece being prepared and served

Chef Kenichi Ishikawa, an extraordinary of Edomae sushi and Chef at Ginza Sushi Ichi Bangkok for five years, is recognized globally by culinary legends like Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert as one of the world's most skilled sushi chefs. His expertise lies in flawless cutting, meticulous fish selection, and creating perfectly balanced sushi that delivers "total satisfaction.
Chef Kazuhisa Maekawa, with a decade of mastery at the renowned Ginza Sushi Ichi, is a true artisan of Edomae-style sushi. He began his journey at the original Ginza flagship in Tokyo before moving to the Bangkok branch in 2016. Celebrated for his flawless technique and exceptionally refined touch (a "good hand" in Japanese culinary terms), Chef Maekawa crafts each piece of sushi into a rare and unforgettable culinary experience.
Chef Kenji Omori is a seasoned Sushi Chef whose culinary style is rooted in preserving and evolving traditional Japanese flavors. He has extensive experience in the Kanesaka Group, including nine years at Shinji in Singapore and prior work at Bangkok Sushi Ichi. He holds a Cook's License. He is currently employed as a Chef at Ginza Sushi Ichi in Bangkok.
