Canvas is located in the heart of Thonglor, a vibrant district featuring many of the city's top restaurants, bars, community spaces, and new developments. Its food is creative, using all Thai ingredients.

OVERVIEW
We are a fine dining restaurant serving abstract cuisine using the most premium Thai ingredients exclusively. We offer seating at our Kitchen Counter or Dining Room. Our dining experience is groundbreaking and original, providing a unique experience for our guests.

AMBIENCE
Canvas is a comfortable, well-considered space to dine. Our interior is minimal and open, with our kitchen in full view of all tables so guests may view and interact with our Chefs. The interior is intended to showcase the unique style of our cooking. A large canvas painted by local artist Fern Damrongwattanapokin further connects the interior space with our approach to cuisine.

MUST TRY
Our signature is boundless creativity; we do not have a signature dish because we change the entire menu every few months. When the menu changes, all dishes change, the theme overall changes, I create new artwork to correspond with each dish, and I design new ceramics specifically for each course on the menu.

FOOD
Our menus revolve around themes and change entirely in scope every few months. For example, our current exhibition menu, Wild Things, celebrates the rarest Thai ingredients from the jungles and forests, along with wild design aesthetics, groundbreaking flavor combinations, and inventive techniques. Previously, The Color of Flavor exhibition menu explored the relationship between color and flavor in food through 20 unique courses.

SERVICE
The service is friendly and welcoming with the waiters taking a genuine interest in the customers' preferences and special requests. Chef Riley Sanders takes the time to talk to his patrons, especially if you are sitting at the copper bar counter.

ABOUT CHEF
Executive Chef Riley Sanders’ passion for cooking has led him to travel all over the world from his roots in Texas in pursuit of learning about great food and ingredients from humble street food stalls and bustling markets to many of the world's best restaurants. His professional background includes work with several award-winning chefs including James Beard Award winners Tyson Cole and Paul Qui of Uchi and Uchiko in Austin and 3-Michelin star Chef Laurent Gras, formerly of L20 in Chicago. Riley most recently served as head chef of a private super yacht, using the opportunity to further develop and refine his cooking, informed by international travel. Riley fell in love with Bangkok, Thai cuisine, culture, ingredients, and markets after his first visit in 2013 and began developing Canvas in 2016.
