Akira Back Bangkok is the first and only Akira Back restaurant in Thailand, helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Akira Back—Korean-born and American-raised—who is celebrated for redefining modern Asian cuisine. His culinary philosophy combines Japanese and Korean flavors with global influences, creating dishes that are bold, inventive, and full of energy.

Guests can explore an à la carte menu and for a more immersive experience, the seven-course Discovery Menu offers a curated journey through the restaurant’s most iconic and innovative dishes.
Complementing the cuisine is an exceptional beverage program, including a curated wine list, sake-based cocktails, and premium sake selections. Among these is Akira Back’s exclusive sake label, produced in collaboration with the renowned Nanbu Bijin brewery in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

FOOD
TUNA PIZZA - Our best seller in all of our restaurant all over the world. This dish is Chef Akira’s mother’s favorite dish and says everything about our concept. It is a modern pizza with a crispy crust, umami aioli that is made out of ponzu sauce, tuna sashimi, micro shiso, and also white truffle oil for that irresistible aroma.
SERVICE
The service of Akira Back Bangkok is top notch and the staff is knowledgeable in particular Akira Back’s Bangkok General Manager, French-born, Charles-Henri Kaderabek. The Staff would serve the dish with the food description and story behind each menu item. Attention to detail from the chef and the staff is something very noticeable.

SUMMARY
The cost to dine at Akira Back Bangkok is on the higher side, even if you use the Club Marriott card for a discount. However, the quality of food and service justify the price.
