SCR is a well-known food and beverage brand in Sarawak that serves affordable and tasty Asian meals. It has built a strong following among families, students, and working adults because of its consistent quality and familiar local flavours.

To expand its offerings, the group introduced Chicago7, a Western fast food concept known for fried chicken, burgers, and quick-service meals that are convenient and enjoyable for all ages.

Together, SCR and Chicago7 operate a unique 2-in-1 concept, where both Asian and Western menus are offered in the same outlet. This gives customers more choices in one place, making dining easier and more convenient—especially for families or groups with different preferences.

Today, the group has grown to more than 50 outlets across Sarawak, making it one of the more established local F&B networks in the region. This wide presence allows the brand to serve customers in many towns and communities, bringing both SCR and Chicago7 closer to everyday dining needs.

The 2-in-1 model has also played a key role in the group’s growth. Instead of choosing between two different restaurants, customers can enjoy both concepts under one roof. This combination of Asian comfort food and Western fast food creates a balanced menu that appeals to a wide range of tastes.

AMBIENCE

The ambience and design of SCR and Chicago7 outlets are created with a focus on practicality, comfort, and efficiency.

Most outlets follow a simple, clean, and fuss-free design, making it easy for customers to dine in without unnecessary complexity. The layout is straightforward, with clear ordering counters, easy navigation, and functional seating arrangements.

As a self-service and fast-moving concept, customers place their orders at the counter and collect their food once ready. This system helps reduce waiting time and keeps operations smooth, especially during peak hours.

The overall atmosphere is casual and welcoming, suitable for quick meals, family dining, or a short break. While the design is not overly decorative, it is intentionally kept practical to support high customer flow and efficient service.

With this approach, the focus remains on what matters most — fast service, good food, and a convenient dining experience across all outlets.
