Taian offers three-star Japanese Kaiseki in a cozy setting without the formality. Taian is located in Osaka's Nagahoribashi on a quiet street. The manager's wife, Okami, smiles gently to welcome each visitor. An old calligraphy scroll written by the chef's father is hanging on the elegant entryway wall. Adjacent to it is a stunning sculpture created by his daughter. A restaurant preserved by the love of a family.
