The RBSO invites audiences on an unforgettable journey across time, space, and imagination under the baton of esteemed Resident conductor Vanich Potavanich, the evening will be a dazzling exploration of iconic music that has defined generations of movie enthusiasts.

Dr. Potavanich is one of Thailand’s leading conductors and was awarded the Silpathorn Artist Awards in 2014, awarded by the Ministry of Culture. He has appeared regularly as guest conductor of the RBSO since 1995.

Experience the opening soundtracks of John Williams’ Star Wars to the soaring melodies of James Horner’s Avatar, this concert promises a galaxy of emotions, epic battles, heartfelt themes, and music of distant worlds. The programme continues with thrilling suites from Jurassic World, Back to the Future, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and includes one of John Williams’ most beloved creations, E.T.’s The Flying Theme.
