Putien Kitchener Road is a Chinese fine dining restaurant where the innovative chef by which uses fresh quality ingredients to meticulously prepare standard and consistent dishes. This restaurant which does not boost of five-star location can be found right on the main road on the fringe of Little India and stands out from its neighbours with its bright white shop front.

The inside of the restaurant is great thanks to the contemporary in decor.

SERVICE
The service staff were attentive, efficient and friendly and the staff explain each dish exceptionally. Food can be delayed in some occasions but the waitress deems it fit to keep diners updated on the status of the food.

FOOD
This restaurant hosts one of the finest menus and hence adorable dishes. The dishes are dominated by Cantonese fare using Fujian influences and vegetarian dishes are very minimal. The menu includes Baked Putien clams on Hot plate. The bed of salt served with the baked clams makes a perfect enjoyment to the senses. Deep Fried Pigs Trotters with Salt & Pepper. Bamboo Herbal Prawn savours the sweetness of live prawns, with the light fragrance of nourishing Chinese herbs such as angelica root and Chinese wolfberries infused in Chinese wine.

Other popular dishes include the stir-fried yam with caramelized sugar coating crispy oyster. A very tasty dish. Yellow croaker fish is a popular and versatile item in Putien cuisine. So don’t be surprised to see it a lot on the menu. There is a great selection of wines and cocktails as well.
