The restaurants main focus is local seafood, a great meat selection such as Australian Angus beef and other signature dishes from the wood fired oven with a strong Mediterranean influence from Southern France, Italy and Spain. Executive Chef Mark Jones prepares all the dishes fresh in house. The seasonal changing menu is designed around the BBQ and wood fired oven with signature pasta dishes and fresh salads. Daily specials change every Friday and run until Thursday.
Favorites at Rock Salt include the freshly caught seafood sourced from nearby Rawai fishermen’s village and delivered daily, try the seafood platter or whole baked fish prepared in a wood fired oven. Other popular orders are the fine de clair oysters, delivered 3 times a week, the piri piri chicken, lamb kofta and Angus rib eye and mussels. Rock Salt boasts an impressive wine list as well.
