OVERVIEW
Panwa House, part of the Cape Panwa Hotel, is a former coconut plantation owner’s home. The Sino-Portuguese mansion has been artistically restore in the original style with wooden floors, Portuguese Azulejo tiles, antique library cabinets and nacre encrusted Chinese teak furniture. The restaurant serves authentic and local Thai dishes in a memorable environment as Panwa House served as a movie set and for numerous photo shoots.

FOOD
Panwa House serves classic Thai and seafood dishes; chicken and beef satay, tom yam koong, pla kapong tom yam haeng, very tasty and spicy Nam Prick Goong Siab, (boiled veggies with shrimp paste), a Tom Ka Gai (spicy and sour coconut soup with chicken) and beef masaman curry. The Chef Set Menu is a popular choice as well, the five dishes are served in delicate Chinese porcelain on a rattan tray.
SUMMARY
With its location on the East Coast of Cape Panwa, Panwa House is a remote island destination for a romantic dinner on the beach. Book a table outside on the verandah for the amazing sea views. The restaurant is open for dinner only and welcomes outside guests.
