Baan Rim Pa is located just north of Kalim beach and occupies two and half levels with every table having a stunning sea view. It is a great place to experience authentic Royal Thai cuisine.

OVERVIEW
Perched on the cliff just 1.9km north of Patong above the Bay of Kalim with uninterrupted panoramic sea views stretching from the Bay of Patong, Baan Rim Pa offers one of the most stunning locations, in a beautiful wood and silk décor and serving award winning cuisine. Everything from the location, beautiful décor, piano bar, dedicated staff and original Thai fares makes Baan Rim Pa a memorable Thai Dining Experience. Originally opened in 1998 as a 24 seat restaurant it grew in popularity and size. In recent years it moved to its current location which many say is more beautiful than the original.

FOOD
The original menu came from dishes created for the Thai Royal family. The first chef at Baan Rim Pa grew up in the palace as his parents were chefs to the King and Queen. Over the years the restaurant has added traditional Thai and local Southern Thai dishes. Among the extensive menu some of the all-time favorites dishes are the “Hmoo Song Krueng Klook Nga Thod” deep-fried pork with white sesame seed, “Tom Kah Gai Paak Tai” herbed soup of chicken in coconut milk, Southern style “Gaeng Khiaw Waan Nuea, Gai, Goong Mungkorn” green curry with beef, chicken, prawns or andaman lobster, “Poo Nim Paad Naam Prik Pao, Thod Gratiam, Paadpongkarie” soft shell crab fried with chilli jam, garlic or curry powder, “Gaeng Kuan Poo-Hmee Luag” crab meat curry served with half boiled noodle and “Yod Fuk Thong Paad Naam Mun Hoy Hmoo Grob” fried top of pumpkin leaf with oyster sauce and crispy pork.
