Prelude is the brainchild of restaurant owner Holly Chiu. The restaurant puts the focus on local produce and minimal waste, a restaurant where ‘local ingredients meet global influences’. The dinner tasting menu has two-, three- or six-course options (THB 750-1,200), in all options you’ll be amazed by the preparation and artistry put into every dish. For your main course you should try the risotto with crabs, caramelised onions, and local cheese. After your meal, be sure to check out the secret hideaway bar dubbed the Pink Flamingo to partake in a unique cocktail such as the Flamingo Sling made from pineapple and pumpkin molasses. Holly Chiu came back to Thailand after having worked with acclaimed chefs in New York, France, Finland and Norway. She also earned her title of Certified Sommelier under The Court of Master Sommeliers.
